I think thatā€™s it. try flashing the 433 version, and double check that both boards are in fact 433 as it said on the label. both boards must be the same frequency to work.

I donā€™t KNOW, but I donā€™t think the update function in the phone app reads the hardware, only checks firmware version, and updates to newer if possible. so a wrong firmware becomes a newer, still wrong, firmware
