versuch es mal auf dem default channel, long fast .
hohe position und gute antenne sind hilfreich.
von einem Berg wrist du vermutlcih etwas empfangen, aus einem Tal eher nichts.

Yes, I’m writing on the default LongFast channel, with all its default settings untouched.
My main Meshtastic client has the name “ggg”; location is in the south of Cologne center.
So far, my two Heltec Lora 32 V3.1 have found each other, and today two more peers (“Repeater BN-Buschdorf” and “paxcounter2”) were added to the peer list.
My devices currently use the flimsy antennas from their set ( https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B0D21VV51V ). Despite this set being advertised for 868 MHz, the provided antennas have a printing indicating 915 MHz, so maybe they aren’t matched well.
I’m currently waiting for a delivery of “Hirose U.FL/I-PEX MHF I to SMA” adapters in order to install better antennas.
Yaa, bessere Antenne und höhere Position sind wichtig.
wenn du richtig ins mesh rein willst, muesstest du einen node als router weiter oben (hausdach/mast, freie Strasse mit sicht in zumindest eine Richtung) platzieren, und deinen mobilnode/in der Wohnung kannst du dann im Umkreis von 500m verwenden…
in Köln kommen die hiesigen Mesh signale zwar an,. aber idr nicht in oder zwischen den Häusern.
zudem ist in und um Köln sehr viel noise, der den Empfang stark stört…
