I do share your concern, about confusing information, regarding how ACK’s are visualized to the user. Today, according to my understanding, the ACK is shown automatically if the message is heard to be retransmitted. Therefore, it is not possible to know, if the message is received by the intended destination (user). The graphics could be more clear about these implicit ACK’s?

The only way to maintain reliable messaging, is to manually ACK all received messages. An automatic ACK when the intended user has received the message would be really useful.
