I have been evaluating multiple TBEAMs and have found the GPS on the TBEAM V1 boards crash/hang in a few different ways, but always recover when the TBEAM is reset. For this and potentially other reasons, I would like it if devices could be configured to reboot themselves every X minutes. In the interests of unattended operation, I’d set mine to reboot a few times per day.

@moxy-bc just out of curiosity, how are you determining that the GPS on the TBeam has crashed/hanged?
I have the same hardware and would like to understand this more.

For me suddenly" NO GPS" appears, and never changes until a reset.

I think in either of these cases the best fix is to fix whatever the bug is. If you have a device that changes to say “NO GPS” it would be super helpful if you could connect to it via the serial port and capture about 5 minutes of serial debug output and put it in a github bug.
