Is it possible to change the band (frequency set) of this board by flashing with a different firmware? Or is there frequency specific hardware on the board itself?
I have been sent a couple of 923 MHz boards that I need to shift to 868.

Load up the firmware for the region you want. Works like a charm.
Thanks, that is good news. It can be difficult to change the region codes sometimes in things like this. Good thing these guys are not following the ITU rules too closely!
Interesting. So any of them will work if reloaded? i’ve been ordering mine from amazon and am having a hard time finding a t-beam v1.1 with ipx or whatever connector (can only find sma) at 915 MHz.
The 800 to 1000mhz radios are generally identical except for the antenna.
Three 400ish mhz radios have different parts stuffed on the board.
It took me less than 5 minutes to reflash two boards using esptool.py on linux.
Personally I would not recommend using IPX connectors anywhere where they are likely to connected and unconnected more than a very few times(once) or exposed to moisture or movement. They are not designed for it.
that’s close enough for me and will save me a HUGE headache. thanks.
I have a few specific 3D printed enclosures I want to design that aren’t really compatible with the sma connectors, at least not in their current orientation.
