I have a mesh network at home, and when Im at work remotely I connect to it through my wifes node through MQTT with our own private Root topic so we only get our nodes. I Also have set up an admin channel so I can change settings on my wifes node from work through the mqtt.
last night I did a remote admin connection and added a channel on her node. This morning I discovered that somehow the position of my phone was uploaded to her node so it shows the position where I am and not the “home” position. Her node does not have GPS and is set to GPS Not_present.
Is this a bug or is there a feature Im not aware of?
I didnt think it should be possible to send the position like that to a different node through the admin and mqtt.
I am unsure if I had “provide phone location to mesh” activated when I connected, but still this should not change the position of a remote node through the admin channel or mqtt?
