Newbie question on position data

Hi All,

I’m new to Meshtastic and can’t find the answer I’m looking for. Hope the community can point out what I’m doing wrong.
I have two nodes,
node A

  • router-client
  • connected wifi
  • connected to private mqtt
  • no GPS chip, but configured a static position.

node B

  • client
  • not connected to the internet
  • not mqtt configured.
  • GPS chip enabled.

Both node shared an encrypted primary channel.
On MQTT, I can see telemetry, nodeinfo sent by both node and only position data from node A. but I can’t see position data from node B. What am I missing?

If I connect node B to wifi and MQTT, I can see position data for both nodes, which indicates GPS chip is working.

All good now. had a power outage this morning and rebooted everything. can see my position data coming through. :grimacing:

Hey, I have a question. When your node B sent its position, is it sending its id?, Please, could you see get node id that sends position.
