I live in a town that sits in a valley between two more populated towns above on either side. There is an Inclined Plane that runs 1675 feet up to the one town. At the top of that inclined plane you can see the entire city below as well as the other town across the valley. If i were to place a node at the top of that incline plane what mode should it be in? Thanks in advance.

Isn’t there a big cell tower right up at the top? You might need to come up with a bandpass filter of some sort to prevent front end overload.

Anytime someone says “incline plane” I think Johnstown. My grandfather worked at Bethlehem Steel and lived in Westmont.
Yup my father worked at Bethlehem Steel as well. I guess just about everyone that lives here had a family member work there if you are over 40. So since you guys know the area would you think this would be a spot for Router / Repeater node? I could also hide one over by Devils Rock on the other side of town. I figure it would get messages out of Jtown city and up to Westmont. Then a router at Devils Rock would get messages out going to Richland. Thoughts?
It should be a good location, but might need some help getting out to the east hills.
Another possibly good spot would be up at the water tanks off Theatre Drive in Richland.
I’m pretty sure there is a node on the Richland water tanks.

I was up there the other day and only saw MPS2. Hoss’s parking lot. I wasnt there long enough to see if anything else connected.
