Heltec V3 wifi disconnects and stays disconnected

Using a Heltec V3 connected via Wifi, I am finding that the Heltec V3 is disconnecting from the Wifi access point, and staying disconnected until it’s rebooted. It lasts online for a period of around 20-40mins of being connected fine, then it just drops offline and can no longer be reached via ping.

My Wifi access point is a Asus TUF ax3000, with all the new Wifi6 AX stuff. I tried locking my Wifi to 802.11b only, and now the Heltec V3 is staying connected. It has remained connected now for over an hour, longer than ever before.

Anyone else seeing this? All my other Wifi devices, around 20 of them, of varying ages/protocols, all stay connected fine to Wifi, the Heltec is the only device that doesn’t.

My Heltec V2 has been running as a ROUTER_CLIENT and MQTT proxy via my WiFi repeater for weeks without any problems. The firmware I use is 2.2.24.

All ESP’s can only work on 2.4GHz. If it’s on a mixed 2.4/5GHz network, it will be unreliable.
