Just had a weird situation. Hope this is easy to follow.
I have two Heltec V3s. One is connected to my home Wi-Fi and the other is connected to a portable router’s Wi-Fi. I have a tablet connected to the portable router and my phone connected to the home Wi-Fi.
The node on the home Wi-Fi would not stay connected to my phone app. It would just cycle through connecting and disconnecting but could be seen and connected to in the Tablet app (portable wifi) via ip address. The node on the portable wifi showed up in neither phone or tablet.
On the home connected node I : Rebooted app and node, force closed and restarted the app, updated firmware, moved node to another room and nothing. I also double checked the network connections on nodes and tablet and phone and all were as they should be.
it sorted itself out when I turned off Bluetooth on the tablet. The home Wi-Fi node disappeared and the portable node appeared and I was able to connect. Going to the phone I was now able to connect and stay connected to the home Wi-Fi node.
I thought that Bluetooth was disabled when Wi-Fi was enabled? And why would the IP connection work?
anyway, just keep hitting buttons until desired result is achieved I guess
