Firmware for TBeam v1.1 for frequency AS920-923 (“AS1”)?

Hi,

I just ordered the freqency 923Mhz TBeam v1.1 and on way. I also downloaded the firmware and took a peek and couldn’t find any freqency above. Any advice or idea? Complete NOOB here.

The only recommendation is from the “readme.md” for the firmware
So the close compiled firmware file would be “firmware-tbeam-JP-0.9.1.bin”
or maybe the “firmware-tbeam-US-0.9.1.bin”.
This will operate on 915Mhz which is outside your authorized band of AS920-923…
so a separate compile would be needed to change

I Don’t know which files in the source code contains the operating frequency. It would nice to
have frequency selection as an future option in the android software to modify the frequency… but I don’t have the skills to make the correct recommendation.

I suspect that whatever site listed the tbeam as 923MHz just made a mistake. I think the hardware on the radios are identical for the 800-950MHz versions (the 400MHz version is different). They just swap different antennas (and I bet they are always shipping a 915MHz antenna anyways :wink: ).

You’ll be fine with the standard 915MHz settings we use.
