Thanks luxonn. Just to confirm: you only had two nodes in your mesh and the remote node was off, but the app connected to the local node confirmed delivery?

Also, what was the device firmware version?

yes, I confirm, everything is exactly like that. latest firmware 1.2.7 (on 1.2.6 it was the same) tbeam 433

Problem with the choise of channel in this version still exists.
The channel in the app is different from what appears on the device.
Either 2 letters or 4 letters up or down from the app. (and of course overlap from Z to A)
Cell phone 1 on channel -N and other on channel -V but both (t-beams 868) devices on channel -R.
And no communication between the 2.

Same here, see left phone at scoffins and at public works.

The 1.2.6 app updates the firmware from 1.0.0 to 1.2.6. The 1.2.7 app does not seem to do that even after a device reset or clearing cache and data of the app. Device is stuck on 1.2.6. maybe that’s what causes the messages to show as in sync when they really aren’t?

The 1.2.7 android app includes the 1.2.6 device firmware. There’s no released 1.2.7 device firmware out the door at the moment.
