Switching the radio relay of the repeater to different speeds

HI, friends!
In the near future I plan to set up a radio relay for our local community in the village.
We are currently testing live communications and I have questions about the radio relay on the roof.

I am planning a relay based on a simple TTGO Lora32 switched to radio relay mode. Will the relay work at only one, preset speed, or will the relay be able to determine the speed itself and switch itself?

Hmm. By repeater, do you mean a meshtastic node configured as a router? If the latter, all the nodes of the same mesh operate on the same frequency and with same radio settings.
