Stopping MQTT node spam?

Hello - love Meshtastic and learning heaps.

Is there a way to set at the node level the ability to reject nodes discovered over MQTT?

For example, if someone on the mesh connects theirs to MQTT and it sends everything across the network, I’d like my node to just ignore it. I don’t want it going into the NodeDB at all, if possible.

I know filtering via the app is possible, but it’s not ideal. I just want to block it and not pass it on either.

You can enable “ignore MQTT” in the LoRa settings.

The nodes in your mesh need to use at least firmware version 2.2.19 for this to work.
