New guy having problems

I keep getting these error messages trying to flash directly form the website, and downloading/installing the software keeps giving me problems.

What node hardware and hardware version are you using?
How is it physically connected?
Do you see a COM port in Device manager under Ports (COM & LPT) section?
A picture of your node could be helpful.- ted
