I have 2 TTGO T-beams running with an internal 18650 battery, and powered by a USB connected solar panel. I’ve noticed that when the battery level is healthy, the icon in the app shows as a battery with a percentage, but as the battery drains down below a certain point, it changes to the powered icon and no longer shows any percentage.
Is this normal/expected behaviour and what is the battery level threshold that this change occurs at?
in android app a power plug icon is used when the device reports battery level = 0.
not sure how this is handled on the device side, but GPS/location can also influence this reading since the battery info is sent inside the position packet.

Those 2 devices have been on virtually 0% battery for at least the last 4 hours (made it through the night), so are limping through to the next burst of sunshine on the solar panel.
On an earlier version of the android app the correct voltage was shown, now with the newer version it always shows as plugged in
