I added a separate notification channel for messages in this PR. This allows to enable sound notifications for new messages and not to drown in the continuous dings of service notifications 
. By default the sound is “on” for messages and “off” for service. Users can turn both off in the android notification preferences if they find it annoying. Let me know if you think it is a good idea.
