Custom LEDs on message received / unread (instead of buzz)

Hi there.

Im putting together a unit for use at festivals (where the cell grid is often overloaded).
Id love to be able to animate an addressable LED strip when a new message is received. (Festivals are loud…)
I see there is a function for the buzzer, but im wondering if there is a more generic onMessageRecieved function I could fire off from.

It would be awesome if someone with a little overview of the code could give me a few pointers on where to start looking.

You want to use the external notification plug-in still, it can work with a led or buzzer

I have two Tbeams with both a buzzer and an led for notifications, with a switch to mute the buzzer. The led is a good attention getter, nice to be able to mute sound when range testing.
Be cool maybe to read the message and control a, or a few multi color leds based on content keywords
