Hello,
I have the same problem with my 2 T-Echo and T-Lora V1 after I flashed the 1.2.65.0adc5ce Software on these Devices.
My smartphones (Doogee S60/Android7 and S98/Android12) could no longer recognize the Lilygo Bluetooth devices. Only when I flashed the older 1.2.64.fc48fcd version again the devices were recognized again on the DoogeeS60. On the Android12 Smartphone are the Meshtastic Devices seen and coupled in the Bluetooth Settings but not in Meshtastic App.
I have found the Solution. In the GPS Menue must be the Meshtastic App the right for GPS. The right for turn on the internal Smartphone-GPS in the Meshtastic App is not enough. I think the T-Echo is registered as external Bluetooth GPS for Android.
On some phone models Meshtastic needs location permission to access bluetooth (you can derive location from a BT fingerprint, as much as you can do with wlan hotspots) The âSamsung Bugâ is that GPS actually needs to be turned on when connecting the node for the first time.
I do not know where else you are referring. Under Settings > Location. Meshtastic has âAllowed all the time.â and it reports that it has accessed the location in the last minute.
