Because msh/US/2/c/LongFast is too noisy, we moved to msh/US/TX/2/c/LongFast and msh/US/TX/2/c/Houston. Is there a way we can add those to the meshmap somehow? Or is there another map that sources MQTT that would allow us to add our channels in?
Hello,
If i don’t make a mistake, your node is normally added automatically to the meshmap.net with your primary channel, and only this one.
Is one of the two channels you mentionned primary on your node(s) ? Only one channel can be affected primarily, and you can have many secondary channels.
Did your channels appeared on the meshtastic official mqtt server, with something like MQTTExplorer ?
Hope this can help, have a nice day.
… and obviously, i forgot, you need to have a GPS position, given by the device or the phone linked to the device or fixed manually. You can verify if your coordinates are known in the list of peers the app give. If your coordinates are sended, it must appear.
Yes, if we use LongFast on msh/US it will show up, but if we link that our nodes will fill their nodedb. To deal with that, we moved to msh/US/TX. Since the move, the map doesn’t seem to pick us up.
