Not sure if it’s been covered or not, or if I need to make it a GitHub issue.
I tried getting GPS location working on the Heltec ESP32 boards via “send location via phone”, and it doesn’t seem to be working. Anyone else having this problem, or am I just being dumb? (Hint, it’s probably the latter)
Android? what version?
make sure you have GPS enabled and have sat lock, as in other GPS apps display your location correctly. do you see GPS coordinates under your device name in the Users tab (second tab from left to right)?
Same here. Never been able to get GPS on device using Android phone. Phone GPS locked to multiple satellites, but Meshtastic nodes still no location.

It is for sure enabled and other apps can pull the info from it, except for Meshtastic. And I don’t remember seeing any GPS info displayed in the app or on the devices. (And yes, the app has permission to use GPS.)
