As former .mil, I prefer MGRS. I have my devices set to MGRS in the Device Settings, using Meshtastic Flasher, and it is indeed displayed on the device. The Android app however, continues to display Lat/Long. Would love if the app would follow the device setting.
Since a lot of the devices have a GPS chip (I realize some don’t) - why does the Meshtastic app need the Phone/Tablet GPS on? It would be great, from a power saving feature on the Phone/Tablet, if the app could just pull the GPS coordinates off of the radio.
Finally, just another to add to the many already: It would be awesome if the app could use on device OSMand+ or Trekarta map data.
