"A required permission is missing..."

When starting up the app, which I’ve just now side-loaded, I get:

“A required permission is missing. Meshtastic wont be able to work properly. Please enable in Android application settings.”

What is the required permission? From what I can tell, it wants “allowed to run all the time.” Would be handy if this were enumerated on-screen, in the app.

The app needs location permissions. Without this permission Android won’t allow ble scanning.

Yep, I figured that was the case, but the app doesn’t really make that clear - anyone not able to noodle through it from a tech background would be awfully confused about WTF they’re supposed to do. :slight_smile:
