WisMesh Pocket will not connect to WiFi

I purchased a pair of WisMesh Pocket radios and they seem to work as designed. Trying to get one of them connected to my WiFi network and it does not seem to connect.

I have used both the Meshtastic Android app as well as connected it to a Windows machine via serial and used browser through client.meshtastic.org to verify the SSID and password are correct, including case, but I cannot connect. I tried assigning a Static IP so I know that I am trying the correct IP and I still cannot connect or get a reply to a ping.

On your router, are you seeing connections in the DHCP leases to indicate that WiFi is on and connecting?

Could this be an issue of both devices having the same MAC address thus causing problems with your router? See this support document at Rokland for more info…

No the router does not seem to indicate they are connected. An Nmap scan of the network with one of the MT radios turned on is no different than a scan with it turned off. It looks like the radio is not connecting to the router.

Only trying to get one of the MT radios connected to the WiFi so do not think it is a same MAC issue.

Wait… does the WisMesh Pocket even support WiFi? In the feature list on Rokland and RAK Wireless I don’t see any mention of WiFi, only BLE.

I guess I just assumed it did because I saw it as a configurable option. Looking at the product page I do not see WiFi listed. I’ll have to look and see if I can add it to one of them.
