I got a pair of Lora32 V1.0, though it does say there is a limited number of t-beams available when I try to order those.
I found the t-beams on banggood, but it looks more expensive than aliexpress.

there is a version for £5 less with NEO-M8N
but

Is the only physical difference between the 868 and the 915 models the antenna ?
most images of the board show both frequencies printed on the sx1262 so I assume that is set in software.
Just seems strange that there should be two models to choose from on this link
but the 868 isn’t selectable.
If it is merely a matter of a different antenna then I can get that separately.
If you can get the antenna for the 868Mhz band you can buy the 923Mhz version, The difference is only in the antenna.
The EU software adjusts the frequency to 868Mhz

Typical that I have everything here ready - the batteries, the 3D printed enclosures, and I’ve scouted out a location on the roof of my building too…then mine get lost/ delayed.

Been tinkering for a few days

don’t have cases yet
been range testing with supplied antennas , so far not a lot of pings over 500m but then I am in a built up area with a lot of mobile phone masts.
Expect improvements when I can get the ‘home’ unit high enough and perhaps with a better antenna. Where we live the land rises to the sw which pretty much blocks out that side of the city, not that much of a hill but enough to make a difference , and I don’t think folks would be happy if I went up the EE mast that is at the top to put my little LoRa repeater
