TTGO T-Beams, which way around to solder screen header?

Hey guys,

just got 3 T-Beams delivered, had to wait FOREVER for them to get through customs. They were stuck there for a full month

Just about to solder the screens on, and I noticed the header has a short side, and a long side. Do the long pins go towards the screen, or towards the board? I looked around on here and on YouTube, and it seems everyone just chose a way, there doesn’t seem to be a standard

Is there a correct way?

Up to you. The only consideration is whether they’ll get in the way of any case you might use.

Thanks, I put it long side into the board, threw some electrical tape on the back of the screen and soldered it. Came out pretty well I think
