Poorman's cases

Here is my idea for a meshtastic router …

Found a waterproof case with built-in solar cell and battery. The included board, sensors, and lights can be disconnected. It’s about $6.00 USD shipped from Banggood.

I did this with a tlora v1, which uses too much power for that panel, a nrf52 is a much better choice for solar.

I see the RAK5005-O width will likely clear. Do you know if a RAK5005-O setup can fit in the half side of the case? I’d want small, so I’m curious if I can get the version with a removable light.

Once it gets through customs I’ll send pictures with my TTGO board in it

Those lights have a ton of room inside compared to a 5005, should be no issue.

I made case from dental floss box.(1dollar)

Small waterproof fishing tackle box from Walmart. Just needed an SMA female to female bulkhead adapter for passing through the box, and a male to male SMA adapter to connect the TBeam.
