Pi Zero W + Adafruit LoRa RFM9X

Hello All,

I am seeking help or information on getting a Pi Zero W to work with meshtastic using the Adafruit LoRa Radio Bonnet RFM95W.

I have recently been able to get the pi running flawlessly on battery power with the PiSugar2 board, and am able to send raw messages over the air with the scripts provided on the Adafruit website, but I would like to be able to run meshtastic on this device.

I’ve seen plenty of posts similar to this one mentioning portduino, but I am unable to find any further documentation on how to use it or if it is even in a state where someone of my (low) skill level could use it.

Serious help would be appreciated.

There is a little work being done to support the pinedio usb Lora board, that is about it currently, not in a usable state.

If so I would be very interested to know more about what you did.
