No payload via private messgeas mqtt

Hi, one of my nodes is configured via wifi and connected to mqtt broker. All is fine when second node is messages to primary channel and the payload is present, but when i’m trying to do same thing to private message there is no payload with text variable.
Is it normal or should i change something in config?

I believe this may be by design. Unless a DM is sent to your MQTT gateway node, other DM traffic is “private” (ie not readable) as opposed to channel traffic which every connected node is supposed to be able to see…
