When i upgraded to firmware version firmware-2.4.0.46d7b82 and I no longer receiving the neighborinfo packets across the mesh. I have verified that all my nodes have neighbor_info set to true.
Are you using MQTT?
If neighborinfo packets are no longer forwarded via the default public MQTT server.
I am using JSON and NOT on the public server. Is there a way to force the neighborinfo packet into being sent? I am suing that info (along with a python script) to show me the node mesh of my network.
I think the filtering is happening on the meshtastic MQTT server, rather than by the nodes themselves.
So if you not using the default public server, it something else.
The changelog doesnt seem to imply any change affecting neighborinfo packets.
Altought it does seem ānodeinfoā packets are not sent if the mesh has a high channel utilization.
Perhaps nodes wont send neighborinfo packets, if the nodes are not in nodedb.
I agree, hence my question. I am not using the public server and donāt see any neighborinfo packets coming across that server (Iāve even set the interval to 60 seconds).
