Location in app not same as on device

I recently set up a Heltec wireless tracker on firmware 2.5.6
I have android app 2.5.3 on my phone
My trackers screen gives one set of lat/ long coordinates that are correct, but the location in the app is about a mile from my location and its stuck there, it won’t update if I toggle smart position, GPS flags, any of the settings. Thought it was the unit so got another wireless tracker and flashed it. The two devices give the EXACT same lat / long in the app when they are not in the same location physically, and the device screen gives the correct coordinates. Anyone else having this issue?

Check ‘location precision’ in the channel settings (radio config → channels → tap on channel and look at last options in popup).

Thats a rough place for that setting never thought to look in there

I agree, but there for a reason… it’s a per-channel setting; this allows you to be ‘fuzzy’ in public on longfast, but precise in a private channel.
