Hi guys,
Long time reader, first post now.
I got a few nodes up and running and everything works pretty well. But with winter coming soon, there are a few challenges regarding charging of solar powered nodes due to sub freezing temperatures.
I was wondering if there could be a feature added to the hardware that has environmental sensors (in this case temp&humidity) and trigger a GPIO pin if a certain value is reached.
The idea behind this being that the pin could activate a relay that either activates a cooling fan (if temp too high) or in my case a heating element to warm up the batteries.
Not sure if this problem has already been solved and I’m just too dumb to find it.
Cheers!
