Changing frequency on T-Echo

I see 868/915 written on this. I am going to receive two 915 Echos from someone on the forum. Can I change them to 868 via software, or do even they need a different circuit ?

Once I programmed by accident a 433MHz module with 865MHz configuration (or visa-versa)
It did not work well, the output was at least 20dB less than it used to be.
So , like mentioned above, the output matching circuit needs to be altered, which is not practical.

But 915 and 865 are interchangable, so no problem to be expected.

The circuit for 868/915 is the same? I can simply change the frequency in software and use a 868 antenna?

If the label on the LoRa module says 868/915MHz it is no problem. Then there is only one version.
