After updating my T-Beam to 1.3.47 my 1.2’’ OLED stops working properly. shows dots and some corrupted images. On other device with 0.9" display all is ok. Is support of 1.2" screens was removed?
I updated a t-beam with a 2.42" oled and the display is normal, I also updated another device with a 1.3" oled and that has also a normal image. Both devices were updated from 1.3.46 to 1.3.47
As you do not mention what your previous version was, I suggest you flash your t-beam again with the install script. So you will be sure there will be no parts of 1.2 firmware or something else left in the device.
At first time when I updated firmware from 1.2.xx to 1.3.41 i was need to use firmware-update.bin file to flash my t-beam, because flasher “was not see” my t-beam. Screen becomes normal after “soft reboot” from phone. Then I flashed my t-beam with flasher and 1.3.46 firmware and “soft reboot fix” stops working. The same on 1.3.47. Any ideas?
When you update from 1.3.41 to 1.3.45 or higher you need to clear the flash-memory completely because of differences in the filesystem.
when flashed firmware - option “update only” in advanced settings was off. Is it means that filesystem was cleared? Or i need to do that in other way? Thanks for answers!
I do not know your specific case. But that might work i guess. Give it a try
