TAK_TRACKER funcinality

Have been trying to setup a tracker for for my T-Beam 1.1 device to view in ATAK. Everything seems to work ok for about an hour then the “tracker” falls off ATAK and the only way to get it to show back up is to connect to it via BT then return it to a stand alone device. Am I missing something in the setup?

My end state is to have a field deployed tracker I can monitor from a base station with the base station connected and feeding the tracker data to an ATAK Server so it can be viewed outside the meshtastic connection. Currently I cant keep reliable communication within the meshtastic network. I have tried multiple settings as well as going back to default settings with the same result.

One strange item worth noting is I have started getting a “second” or “ghost” tracker showing up on the screen with the same name but roughly 50 meters away from the one the updates for an hour or so.

Update:

If I disable “Show all Meshtastic Devices” the ghost (i.e. previous track) disappears. Issue I’m currently having is it seems the trackers ( two of them) freeze up after 24-48 hours shgowing no updates. All that resolves the issue is to turn off BT and then turn back on and everything seems to go back to normal after you see the trackers bounce around a bit as if the last 24-48 hours of PLI data updates. Now this may be a tablet issue but would like to know what the community thinks.
