Is it normal (definitely not ), or have I chosen the wrong firmware version?(newest alpha at the moment 2.3.10)
My T-Deck connects via Bluetooth shortly after turning on or rebooting, but after a few seconds, it disconnects. Then, the app tries to reconnect without end, until the next reboot.
Just added the ATGM336H GPS module, maybe that can be a hint. However, nothing is shorted, and the GPS module is working fine.
I’m having the same issue on a stock T-Deck (no GPS), both the alpha and beta firmwares. It connects successfully to my iPhone after first reboot but after 20-30 seconds, starts disconnecting after a couple seconds or failing to connect at all.
Was having same exact problems after installing neo 6m gps. Tried a bunch of things trying to figure it out. Ultimately checked power settings and sure enough somehow “power saving” was enabled. I didn’t enable it and was enabled even after multiple firmware flashes and device wipes. Very weird but hopefully this solves your issue if you haven’t resolved it yet.
Correct. In my case this setting was enabled on its own. I was having same issues as OP. Very strange that by default after factory reset this setting should be disabled if i’m not mistaken. It was enabled despite me never enabling it. Only thing that changed was adding a neo-6m gps module and enabling the gps in the ios app settings under “position”. Started experiencing this issue immediately following adding the gps. Hope this helps OP and others.
