T-beam and app not playing nice

App tries repeatedly to connect to node but fails.

I have T-Beam version V1.2 loaded the firmware (2.2.17 Beta) no problem and connected to the app.

When I connected originally there was no display soldered to the board so I used code 123456 with out problem

Neither the gps or voltage was registering in app so I tried to a factory reset from the app.

The node is now seen by the app but unable to connect to it. I added a display and it cycles and settles on a screen asking me to set the region in app.

I have tried a full erase and reflash but no joy.

How do I fix my screw up?

Try forgetting the device in the Bluetooth settings of your phone, force close the app and try connecting again.

Forgetting the device solved the Bluetooth connection issue. Thanks.

I still have no telemetry information over Bluetooth.

Stuck on critical fault # 3 now.:frowning:

I have a guess to what my problem is…

The T-Beam board version is AXP20101-V1.2
In the flasher I am using for a T-Lora V2.1-1.6

Guessing my board is not supported/has radio other than sx1262.:frowning:

I have other devices coming from China and will try again, this Amazon board is fail I guess.

You should just select “T-Beam”, it is supported.

Installed the strait T-Beam firmware and the node is online!
