I have a Heltec V3 on the roof connected via wifi without sleep. I thought that the option to update the firmware via OTA would be simple and just available via the web interface, but unfortunately it is not.
Is OTA really only available via bluetooth?

I got round this by getting a long USB cable.

I’m pretty sure OTA only works on some RAK devices via Bluetooth. It’s not very reliable. I’ve had it fail about 20% of the time necessitating a roof climb or pole lowering. Keep in mind to - some updates need an erase then firmware load.
I have a Heltec v3 and it has 8MB of flash memory. It’s a shame that firmware updates can’t be done online, wifi or even bluetooth. I also have the device on the roof of my house. Don’t you know if it is possible to update Android applications at least via bluetooth?
