NoobQ: how to set position & time on TTGO LoRa32

Hello and sorry, I am fresh in this topic. I use a simple LoRa board, just ESP32 and LoRa. I seem to have successfully installed Meshtastic 1.2.8, have it paired with my phone, see some messages at serial port. However, the board has no GPS, hence no time and location by itself, but it also does not seem to acquire time & location from the phone. I could not find any relevant setting in the android app.

Can I set this over serial port? Or, is there a way to pass at least UTC from the mobile app, something I have missed?

Hi. The Android app (or the python app) will update the time on the device automatically. But I don’t remember when that feature was added to the device. It was sometime newer than 1.2.8 though.
