Yesterday I received two Heltec LoRa 32 V2 units and I successfully followed the instructions on https://github.com/geeksville/Meshtastic-esp32 to install firmware-heltec-US-0.9.1.bin . I loaded the Meshtastic app from Google Game Store, and they are both up and running. Yah!

I am very impressed with the Meshtastic Project. I have been working on a similar(far less developed) project using the RadioHead Library RF95 driver and Mesh manager software. Clearly, in an open source world, I don’t want to beat Meshtastic, I want to join it. The name of my project is LibrePager. I’ll put more about it in a separate post.
I will also be looking for ways to participate in Meshtastic development.
