Best Antenna Setup for Star Topology (Previously "Y - Antenna connector")

in my opinion, this is not a good solution. I would separate long distance communication with local communication. Even if it would be impossible to connect two nodes via serial, they could be connected via LoRa radio interface. A connection via serial would be better, because the long distance nodes could work on a different radio channel than the local nodes. Is the serial connection of 2 nodes supported by any firmware?
