An idea for our community:
As Meshtastic emphasis on low power devices, maybe LoRa Backscatter devices could one day be allowed to communicate with the mesh? Maybe there are someone on this community, who has the will, time, and skills to work on something like this. Possibilities:
- low power wearables: tracking friends within range, gathering sensor data, sending short messages
- all sorts of other sensors: houses, farming, animals…
- tracking boats, cars, and other vehicles
