LILYGO® TTGO Meshtastic T-Beam V1.1 ESP32 LoRa 433 Mhz Wireless Module

I have 3 LILYGO® TTGO Meshtastic T-Beam V1.1 ESP32 LoRa 433 Mhz Wireless Module WiFi GPS NEO-6M . I want to use it in the Iowa ,I am an amateur radio operator WB0EMJ I would like info on setting it and others as a wide aria mesh network for our ARES operation. Info says it does not work in the US is that true ? If it will work here what is the max power available and what would the set up look like ? I have many tower sites and Grain elevators that can be used to cover several (5) counties. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Stan

I have a small mesh setup on 433Mhz. Every works great!! This is how I configure my nodes using the command-line:

meshtastic --set lora.region ‘EU_433’ --set-ham CALLSIGN-SSID --set lora.override_duty_cycle true --set lora.tx_power 20 --set display.units IMPERIAL

Good luck!!

since I did the firmware up date I can not find the licensed setting…

Thanks stan

Not sure if you’re using the Web GUI client interface or not. I haven’t used it much. I mainly use the CLI under Linux. Hasn’t failed me.

I just updated one of my nodes to firmware 2.2.14. I used client.meshtastic.org serial connection. There’s no options to configure it for Ham use. You’ll have to use the CLI.
