Gentlemen, I have a problem with some heltec v2.1 modules, I have 4 in total, all with version 1.2.65. I installed neo6m gps modules in two of them. Using rx to pin 36 and tx to pin 37. It worked perfect! In the other two modules, update to 2.0.10 before installing the gps modules. I use pins 36 and 37 and it doesn’t work. I looked at the variant.h file and found that the pins were changed to 36 rx and 33 tx. So I re-soldered the correct pins but it still doesn’t work.
I upgraded the modules that had 1.2.65 to 2.0.10 and the modules kept working still connected to pins 36 and 37.
Can someone give me a hand, I’m going crazy.
