Can I make an old Sensecap K1100 meshtastic compatible

I have just bought a Seeed Meshtastic development kit and now realised it might be nice to talk to myself and have 2 things. Does my old Sensecap K1100 sensor protyoe kit sound hackable? The kit has an interactive display and some sensors but I think this but it the relevant hackable bit

I think it is just a WIO E5 on a grove board but will have a proper look at it tomorrow. This is what their blurb says on the website about the WIO E5.
β€œ The Wio-E5 wireless module is embedded with the ST system-level package chip STM32WLE5JC, ARM Cortex M4 ultra-low-power MCU, and Long Range SX126X. It supports LoRaWAN frequency plan on EU868, US915 and more, making it suitable for wireless sensor networks and other IoT devices that require battery power, low power consumption and long range.”
I think I probably need to download the STM32 programmer and look at the AT commands I can send it. I did ask them on their YouTube Meshtastic video if they were going to make this device Meshtastic compatible whilst they are making other stuff meshtastic compatible. They did say they would leave instructions on how to make their T1000A compatible, although there was no Live Chat replay so I don’t know how. Never got answered. And searching here I’ve found the WIO E5 chip but not on the Grove platform.
