Hi, any progress with this standalone device?

Looks like there is a similar device but isn’t running Meshtastic;

It would be great to integrate one of these Blackberry keyboards and not having to worry about the phone when out and about.

Any news on this? I really hope we can have an I2C keybord plugin

I2C keyboard would be awesome. Also liked the button combination idea that @geeksville mentioned earlier. There’s another method using an addon that’s connected to the gpio for this LoRa pager that someone on YouTube created LoRa Pager - YouTube

Although the input method that the Lora pager uses is a slide potentiometer:
