Airtime and duty cycle

dear all. I am brand new to meshtastic. Running here a couple of Lily go T Beams with the firmware 1.2.52, The radios and the software performing very well. After going deeper into lora and meshtastic I recognized, that there is a time limit for being on the air. I went trough the forum, but nothing was answering the following questions.
Does the software takes care of the airtime? Can I still send messages after the airtime is reached?

Our club is planing to set a small network for disaster comms. And this network has to be within the frame of our legal system.

Recent firmwares display airtime and channel utilisation.

Yes you can, there is currently no enforcement.

More plumbing for respecting local airtime limits are going into 2.0. If anyone would like to assist, we’d gladly work with you.

We have put together a spreadsheet with what we think is right. Care to take a look at this and double check our effort?
