WisGate Developer D0 gateway + T-Echo

Hello, 3 years ago I bought a LoRaWan gateway with an environmental sensor to experiment with the new technology. The gateway is a "WisGate Developer D0 (RAK7246), I got my Lilygo TTGO T-Echo today, question: would it be possible to interact from one another? What software could I use on the gateway?

For example I wanted to put the gateway at home and the T-Echo away for certain uses, so to use it for example either as a tracking device on my car, or to leave it to my GF and communicate via Mashtastic message, or again to leave it somewhere and just receive the environmental sensor data

TL;DR: Can I make these two LoRa devices interact with themselves? How to do that?

Meshtastic uses LoRa P2P, which is explicitly not compatible with LoRaWAN Gateways. The meshtastic packet has a much bigger max size (230 bytes vs like 11), so any integration would have to be bridged somehow, probably using the internet.
