Updating an NRF52 device via Bluetooth (OTA) with NRF Connect

A fun upcoming Meshtastic 2.0 upgrade (and 1.3.43 this week)

‘nrf connect’ seems to be a windows only application.
Does this mean that an OTA update on linux (or OSX) will be impossible ?

It is available for iOS and android, no desktop necessary

tnx garth for the fast response.
I upgraded to android 1.3.45 and to 1.3.45 on the devices.
Did not find a way to do OTA
Will probably have to wait until Meshtastic V2 will be available.

There are Windows, MacOS, and Linux versions available on the desktop. It is truly cross-platform. I have not tested OTA on these but my assumption is that the process should be similar.

We want it on device first, and then the apps can implement it later. This is for NRF and works with the nordic supplied app for now.

You are right, there are also linux and mac versions of nrfconnect.

Apparently I did not look at the right place.

Is there a way to factory erase using nRF Connect, or must it be done via usb? (For clean updating a solar Rak in out of the way locations)
