Was able to use one relay and connect about 4 miles through some pretty dense forest across a valley.
I think for backpacking one relay is the most I will need. I do prefer to do loops, so having a reasonable way to go back and pick up the relay has been the biggest actual issue the meshtastic devices have worked great.
Just coming back here because I want to do something similar.
I get the following errors from my TBeam when I try and set fixed lat long or alt.
Connected to radio
Aborting due to: Protocol message LocalConfig has no âfixed_positionâ field.
Also appears you can no longer user settime.
